Conference center- handles groups up to 400. All types of equipment needed for any meeting, educational schooling, etc. Fully-equipped computer lab. Come see and experience early Appalachian life at the boyhood home of Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. A mill, 4h camp, museum housing agricultural, milling and homestead artifacts from 18th century. The Historic District includes: The Jackson Family Mill Museum, The Blaker Grist Mill (still fully operational), The McWhorter Cabin, Mountain State Heritage Center and The Mary Conrad Cabin. They offer guided tours of the Historic area. You are also welcome to come visit our general store, sit on our porch for a spell, feed the friendly ducks, or just enjoy some refreshing lemonade. Bus Tours are welcome. Hours of operation: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
