Snowshoe Mountain Resort is a four-season destination, and the #1 ski resort in the mid-Atlantic and Southeast. The resort provides year-round activities, including skiing and snowboarding, snow tubing, snowmobile tours, hiking, biking, lake activities and much more. Snowshoe offers a variety of lodging packages; many include activities and or event fees. Discounts and special rates are available, including student and senior lift ticket and season pass rates throughout the winter. The resort offers more than 30 lodging options making up nearly 1,800 rooms, from hotel rooms to ski condos, town homes and large single-family homes. The centerpiece of the resort is a lively mountaintop village, featuring a variety of shopping and dining options. A diverse offering of activities, ranging from exciting outdoor adventures to a full service spa give guests the perfect escape regardless of season.

Best known for its winter activities Snowshoe offers the region’s most skiable terrain and nearly 200" of annual snowfall. With terrain ranging from beginner to expert, Snowshoe is the perfect spot for any snow enthusiast, regardless of age or ability. The resort's Ski and Snowboard School will have beginners cruising slopes in no time, and a full line of rental equipment is available on the mountain. Snowshoe offers a variety of adventure activities, ranging from guided snowmobile tours to a delicious Backcountry dining experience. After dark, Snowshoe provides plenty of nightlife options including a comedy club, restaurants and bars, and a nightclub. For kids of all ages, the 5 lane Coca-Cola tubing hill. The Big Top indoor entertainment center and Split rock Pools indoor/outdoor heated pool facility, open year round, are favorites. Whether you're a snow enthusiast, or just looking for somewhere to relax with your family, Snowshoe is the perfect winter escape. There's always new terrain to explore and plenty of ways to unwind, from mountaintop hot tubs overlooking breathtaking sunsets to crackling fireplaces available in many of the resort's accommodations.

During the summer months Snowshoe hosts vibrant weekend events, including a chili cook-off, Blues, Brews and BBQ event and Taste of the Mountain Food, Wine and Jazz festival. Guests can relax with a scenic lift ride taking in some of the resort's 11,000 acres of natural beauty, or cool off at Split Rock Pools or Shavers Lake. Adrenaline junkies hit the slopes in snowshoe’s Bike Park providing plenty of lift-serviced downhill mountain bike action. Great adventure activities like Green Zebra off-road tours and geocaching are fun for all ages. Golf enthusiasts love the resort's Gary Player signature course, The Raven, one of the top resort courses in the nation.
