West Virginia Regions

New River-Greenbrier Valley
Rivers and gorges, raging whitewater and tranquil towns make up the New River-Greenbrier Valley region.

Hatfield-McCoy Mountains
Coal history permeates the attractions of the Hatfield-McCoy Mountains region, including a trail system where all-terrain vehicles, cyclists and hikers can explore 500 miles of backcountry trails reclaimed from the mining and logging industries.

Mountain Lakes
Lakes, rivers and streams, and abundant wildlife in state parks, define the Mountain Lakes region of West Virginia. Tranquil towns punctuate the green patchwork and golf courses grace hill and dale.

Metro Valley

Mountaineer Country

Eastern Panhandle

Northern Panhandle

Mid-Ohio Valley
