Race cars in West Virginia

Stock car, motorcycle, ATV, and drag race venues dot the state, and visitors can enjoy America’s National Pastime in the capital as well.

Summit Point Raceway, a regular stop for SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) races in the Eastern Panhandle, boasts one of the finest sports car tracks in the nation. All three of its circuits sometimes operate simultaneously.

Stock car ovals, including the popular West Virginia Motor Speedway, abound, and drag strips are plentiful as well.

Outdoor enthusiasts can ride their ATVs, dirtbikes, horses, and mountain bikes throughout the southern Hatfield-McCoy Trails.
