Within the West Virginia tourism industry, we have a wonderful representation of some of the state’s most dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic people. You may be working with one of them or with an organization that shows continually the drive that makes our industry a top performer in the state. The Stars of the Industry Awards are your opportunity to allow the entire industry and the state to recognize the valuable contributions of these people and organizations.
Overall Advertising Awards showcase tourism features
Throughout the year, features appear in state and national publications, on television and radio that showcase some of the best travel and tourism opportunities in the Mountain State.

The West Virginia Best Overall Advertising awards program offers opportunities to enter magazine and newspaper articles, photography, radio, television features and Web features.
Best Overall Marketing Campaign
This award will be presented to the marketing organization that uses the most imaginative and innovative marketing.
Submissions should include objectives, target audience, research/planning, message, and results. In order to qualify as an integrated marketing effort, a single, unified theme must be communicated using at least two different types of media.
