The Genuine West Virginia Products Program spotlights hundreds of outstanding and unique products made in West Virginia, from quality retail products to breakthrough research and innovative ideas that are advancing the nation’s economy and productivity.
Through this program, the West Virginia Department of Commerce hopes that new and additional revenue streams will be opened to its members; and that global audiences will have greater access to information about all that is genuinely made and produced in West Virginia.
The program is open to all qualified West Virginia companies or individuals that produce a genuine product or service that is made or manufactured in West Virginia.
Web site participation on
www.genuinewv.com is free to all members and a profile page is provided that includes information about the product or service; email address; Web site link; and two product photos.
Product profile information is updated by each member through an auto-publishing tool that is available on the Web site; access is name and password protected. Members can change contact information, profile text and upload photos.
Announcements will also be made to members regarding educational seminars and workshops provided by the West Virginia Small Business Development Centers.
