February 26, 1867:
The
West Virginia Legislature amended the town charter of
Ripley,
Jackson County,
defining corporate limits and responsibilities of town officers.
Ripley is home to several historic
attractions, as well as
many annual events, including the Mountain State Art
and Craft Fair.
