Online storefront makes ordering easier than ever
WEST COLUMBIA, W.Va. – Are you looking for a way to feed local wildlife, filter air and water and add beauty to your landscape? Achieving all these goals is easy with seedlings from Clements State Tree Nursery. Clements is the only state-owned forest tree nursery in the state, and grows seedlings that are genetically suitable for planting throughout West Virginia and neighboring states.
The nursery sells various species of pine, oak, dogwood and hickory, and this year has a surplus of white, red and chestnut oak as well as West Virginia’s state tree, the sugar maple. Prices range from 15 cents per tree to $1 per tree, depending on the number of seedlings ordered, and there is a 20 percent discount offered on orders of 5,000 or more.
Ordering seedlings has never been easier. An online storefront allows you to shop 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To order online, visit www.wvcommerce.org/ClementsNursery.
Order forms also can be printed from the website and mailed to Clements State Tree Nursery, 624 Forestry Drive, West Columbia, WV 25287. Or you may call in your seedling order at 304-675-1820.
