New community foundation program creates summer intern jobs; deadline to apply set for March 14

Our Community’s Foundation announces a new program that will pair college-age summer interns with area nonprofit, business and government organizations. The Civic Leaders Fellowship Program will provide approximately 15 student interns with six weeks paid employment and an opportunity to build professional skills. The internship is at no cost to employers selected to participate in the Civic Leaders Fellowship program. Eligibility is limited to employers and students in the Foundation’s service region of Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt and Wood counties in West Virginia and Washington County in Ohio. Our Community's Foundation is made up of the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation and the Regional Affiliate Foundations. The application deadline is March 14.
