PIPESTEM, W.Va. –The 21st Annual West Virginia Public Employees Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, May 12, at Pipestem Resort State Park in Summers County. Pipestem serves as host to this tournament and welcomes state, city, county and public education employees in active employment or retired status. Tournament registration deadline is May 1.
Trophies and prizes will be awarded in both Men’s and Women’s Division, Low Gross & Low Net (Callaway System). In addition, there are prizes for closest to the pin and longest drive contests, and door prizes. The cost is $50 for each participant and includes greens fee, shared cart, cookout and pre-tourney range balls.
Practice tee times are available on Friday, May 11, starting at 1 p.m. Call 304-466-1800 make tee-time reservations. Practice greens fee and cart rental is $28.50 per player.
Discount lodging of $62 plus tax on Friday or Saturday nights is available. Identify yourself as a tournament participant when making reservations.
