Participants will come away from the training with:
- Basic knowledge of green design construction and building operations.
- Overview of the LEED framework, concepts of integrated design, as well as policies and procedures.
- Resources available for an understanding of sustainable design strategies for site management, water use, energy use, resource management, and indoor environmental quality.
- Hands-on exercises which will reinforce concepts necessary for attendees to prepare for the LEED Green Associate exam.
Successfully passing the LEED Green Associate exam is the first step to becoming a LEED Accredited Professional. This course will prepare attendees to take the LEED Green Associates exam at a testing center located within the attendee’s community.
