Energy codes save money

In West Virginia, the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code and the ASHRAE 90.1-2007 standard provide minimum guidelines for energy efficient construction of new homes and commercial buildings. On average, West Virginia homeowners will save $1,996 over 30 years under the 2009 IECC.

The W.Va. Division of Energy sponsors workshops and hands-on training on the codes. Check out the training calendar for workshops in your area.
