The National Resource Directory is an online tool for wounded, ill and injured Service Members, Veterans, their families and those who support them. It provides access to thousands of services and resources at the national, state and local levels to support recovery, rehabilitation and community reintegration. It is a collaborative partnership among the Department of Defense, Labor and Veterans Affairs. The directory offers information on Benefits and Compensation, Education and Training, Employment, Family & Caregiver Support, Health, Homeless Assistance, Housing, Transportation and Travel, and Other Services and Resources.

Free prescription eyewear for all eligible personnel, including:
- All Active Duty in any branch of service
- Active Duty Navy or Marine Corps on recruiting duty
- Active Duty Air Force or Army on recruiting duty

- Eligible retirees.
The Tricare Transitional Assistance Management Program (TAMP) provides 180 days of transitional health care benefits to help certain uniformed services members and their families transition to civilian life.

Provides FREE Quitline services to all military, active, retired, reserve, national guard and their families. Their program called “About Face” offers educational materials and cessation services.

The VAMC Beckley is a general medicine and surgical care facility.
It consists of 38 medical and two surgical beds. In addition, the
medical center provides extended care and rehabilitation services for 50
