The Resort at Glade Springs is set in the midst of a gorgeous 4,100-acre property in the crest of the Appalachian Mountains, yet easily accessible at the juncture of Interstates 64 and 77 immediately south of Beckley. The wooded, mountain area surrounding the Resort is also southern West Virginia’s premier private community.
LODGING: The Resort at Glade Springs features over 200 guest rooms to suit a range of lodging needs. Our Inn offers beautifully appointed traditional rooms, while our newly-remodeled Executive Suites offer living spaces for guests who desire additional room. Larger families and ski groups will appreciate our modern Manor Houses with available scalable floorplans, and our spacious Chestnut Hill Lodges capable of sleeping up to 40 guests! Accommodations feature standard amenities such as king or queen beds, oversized baths, hair dryers, coffee makers, gas fireplaces, iron and ironing boards and complimentary Wi-Fi; pet friendly rooms are also available. The Resort has modern facilities for conferences and corporate gatherings both large and small, and features West Virginia’s premier Teambuilding Academy. GOLF: Glade Springs’ hallmark is its three, 18-hole championship golf courses—the stately Cobb Course, the breathtaking Stonehaven and the serene, surprising Woodhaven Courses, consistently ranked by premier golf publications as the best in the state and among the best in the East. PGA staff are available all year to help develop your game, and a seasonal Golf Academy is available in the spring and early summer. Our courses have hosted numerous WV Open Championships, USGA Amateur and Open Qualifiers, NCAA Men's National Championships, a PGA FedEx Cup qualifier and scores of local tournaments.
DINING: Our signature restaurant, Glade’s Italian Grill, offers the “famiglia” dining experience to our guests in a genteel dining room overlooking our beautiful Cobb golf course. Relax in the Grill’s upscale ambience while fresh Italian fare and the best wine is brought to your table. Bunker’s Sports Bar is our casual alternative, offering classic American favorites in a relaxed atmosphere. Small Talk Café is the perfect place to enjoy a light lunch or coffee, while The Rotunda in the Inn and Conference center offers full daily breakfast and special catered events.
RECREATION: At The Resort at Glade Springs, "Mountains of Fun" await you! The Resort boasts two outdoor pools, multiple outdoor tennis and volleyball courts, hiking/biking trails, and an Equestrian center. Fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and paddle-boating facilities are available on-site, as well as outdoor laser tag, archery and geocaching courses. Our Activities Concierge coordinates nearby outdoor adventures off-site, including rappelling, caving and America’s best whitewater rafting.
