Come visit the Former Sheriffs home that is attached to the former Marion County Jail-Both on the National Register of Historic Sites. Free tours, and hot cider and cookies. Met Gov. Pierpont of Restored Virginia(1861-1868) and the Father of WV along with his lovely wife, Julia whom some historian give credit for starting Memorial Day. Who knows who else might show up.
