Online filing has been improved and
employers can now transmit unemployment
separation information electronically.

Please read this notice for important updates.

New features for online filing include the following:

  • Employers can file quarterly unemployment compensation wage reports and schedule payment for a later date.
  • THIRD PARTY ADMINSTRATORS can add additional employers and payments from multiple bank accounts.
  • Employers can review employee information in detail before submitting.
  • Employer bank account information will be saved for future transactions.

IMPORTANT: Users with ach debit blocks need to contact their financial institution to inform them of a new company identification number: 1556000814.  Also starting after December 16th, payments will appear on your bank statements as WV Treasury

Upon your first login after December 16th, the system will request bank account information to be registered.  This information will be securely stored to allow you to schedule filing payments up to the last day of the filing period.  Please note the new company identification number: 1556000814 for users with ACH Debit Block.

State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES)
— SIDES is a new web based system that allows electronic transmission of unemployment compensation information requests from unemployment agencies to multi-state employers and/or Third Party Administrators, as well as transmission of replies containing the requested information back to the agencies.

Click the sign-in on the top right to register.

this is on the preprinted form that is mailed to you each quarter. The number is preceded by four or five zeroes. You do not have to enter the zeroes when logging in. Note: do not enter dashes.  If you enter the dashes, you will receive a message that your number is not found.

This is your federal employer identification number. Do not enter dashes.

Note: online filers must pay with ACH Debit.
